Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week ran from October 14 - 18 this year. The idea behind Red Ribbon Week is to be drug free, to show students that life is too precious to ruin it with drugs (including tobacco and alcohol). It is also a celebration of how wonderful people are without drugs. Each day of the week is highlighted with a special theme as well, like "Wear Red Day", or "Pair Up Against Drugs" ( here people dress like twins to show support of each other being drug free. Each advisory also made a banner with a quote from or about a hero or heroes. This year's theme was "Stand up - Be a Hero - You're Not Alone in Saying No!"
